Things To Do in Eureka Springs

Eureka Springs has a wide array of interesting things to do for the whole family and a visit to the Abundant Memories Heritage Village says it all. There are twenty-five buildings, along with artifacts and antiques throughout the village that display so beautifully the history of this wonderful country. While you're there, be sure to see the Historama Show at the Garrison Gallery Theatre. The Great Passion Play, a truly awe-inspiring performance, that illustrates so beautifully the death and resurrection of Christ. The New Holy Land or the Tabernacle Teaching Tours, the Sacred Arts Center, the Museum of Earth History and the Bible Museum are other attractions to see in Eureka Springs. Another great way to spend a day in Eureka Springs may include a cruise along the picturesque shoreline of Beaver Lake on the Belle of the Ozarks, or a ride on the vintage Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway through the scenic Ozark valley. A real treat for animal lovers is the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. The refuge offers 450 acres of beautiful land in the Ozark Mountains that is home to over 100 unwanted or neglected animals such as, tigers, cougars, monkeys and lions. The Pivot Rock is a great Ripley's "Believe It or Not" natural wonder that is a must see. This extremely large boulder is uniquely balanced on a very small tip. If you are looking for adventure there's plenty of hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, biking and sailing. Or maybe you prefer to take in the views and play a round of golf before going to one of the many splendid spas for a mineral bath and a massage.

To really enjoy an evening of fun and laughter, sit back and let the musicians and the comics at the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down or the Pine Mountain Jamboree entertain you. Then if you're feeling lucky, you may want to try the slots or the Las Vegas Style Games at Spinazzz Casino. But for those of you who believe in the paranormal, or maybe you would just like to have some ghostly fun, take a Ghost Tour of the 1886 Crescent Hotel, known as one of "Americas Most Haunted Hotels".
