Spas
Santa Fe is famous for its spa treatments. In addition to several specialized spas, Santa Fe is home to all types of alternative healers and healing centers. Some of the best spas and training centers in the world are located there, so there is an availability of good therapists/technicians that you won’t find anywhere else. Thousand Waves is a world-renowned spa, modeled after the great Japanese hot spring resorts. Public and private hot tubs, both indoors & outdoors, are complimented by a wide variety of spa services. Located in the heart of Santa Fe, Body houses a full service spa, yoga and movement studio, an all-organic cafe, and retail yoga and massage supplies including books, clothing, candles, essential oils and incense. For affordable and quality treatments, try the Downtown Day Spa. They are located just west of the Plaza and are within walking distance from all the major hotels. Treatments include yoga and massage, sandalwood body polishes, rosemary mint salt glows, candlelight couples massage and much more. Many resorts also have wonderful spas, including the Bishop’s Lodge Resort and Spa, La Posada, Cactus Organic Lifestyle Salon, Sunrise Springs Inn and Retreat, and Avanyu.
