Louisville Highlights

Louisville is filled with wonderful things to do and there's something for everyone. Check in with the visitor's bureau to orientate yourself and maximize your time in this historic and friendly city. From art shows, to concerts, plays, and entertaining tours, Louisville is jam packed with things to do all year. The well-know St. James Court Art Show is held at an ideal time of the year when it’s not too hot or cold, the first weekend in October. As October comes to a close and Halloween is upon us, a Victorian Ghost Tour along the Old streets of Louisville will be sure to set the mood (ghost tours are offered every Friday year round). There are also guided walking tours of the charming Victorian architecture in Old Louisville as well as a tour of Farmington, a 19th century Federal style plantation home. For garden enthusiasts, don’t miss the weekend following the 4th of July when private residents open their gardens for your viewing pleasure (aptly named the Garden Tour of Old Louisville.
