No stone is left unturned at Tucson's annual Gem and Mineral Show and is the ideal place to find the perfect stone for your engagement ring. Held on the second weekend in February at the Tucson Convention Center, the show is one of Tucson's premiere events, attracting thousands of attendees and over 250 gemstone, mineral and fossil dealers.

Dozens of shows and exhibits take place in huge white tents and booths all through the downtown area and treasure hunters gather from all over the world to buy, sell and take in the rare pieces from both museum and private collections. If you are planning to join the hunt, make sure you book your lodging way in advance since hotels are usually filled to capacity.
