The White Mountains offer many rivers and streams, lakes and backcountry ponds, all with their unique hatches and aquatic life cycles. To the uninitiated or the familiar, fishing the White Mountains can feel like your casting for a "needle in a haystack".

Let an experienced and passionate guide from Clearwater Fly Shop show you the good spots and teach you fly fishing techniques, while staying for 2 or 3 nights at the Lodge. From the beginner to seasonned angler, they can provide you with valuable information and an unforgettable awarding fishing experience in the White Mountains.

Clearwater Fly shop educational instruction offers unique opportunity to learn this exciting sport in a natural environment in their backyard or right in our pond! The guides are instructors who have been teaching fly fishing and other outdoor pursuits for years. They provide hands-on, personal guidance to help develop the skills you need to enjoy the sport of fly fishing for years to come. Their instruction is custom tailored to teach all levels and abilities and to give individuals the skills to become successful fly fishers. Area of instructions include: fly tying, fly casting, knot tying, presentation, problem solving, basic entomology, stream reading and ecology.

All equipment needed for the program can be provided and in included in their rates, but you are encouraged to bring your own.

Worshops are offered throughout the seasons, with all equipment provided.

From instruction to guided trips, they can do it all to your taste!

2 night stay for two in one of our standard rooms*
Full Country Breakfast each morning
2 hours instruction (by the Saco River or on our pond)** with a professional guide from Clearwater Fly Shop
4 hours wading guided fishing (with instruction though out the adventure on river or lake.
