 A Creekside Garden Inn (formerly the Marquee House) provides spacious rooms in a Mt. Vernon Colonial overlooking historic Mill Creek, and only six blocks from the state capitol. The guest accommodations include five antique-filled rooms, each individually decorated in a garden theme. The large living room and outdoor veranda provide perfect gathering places overlooking our beautiful creekside setting. Outdoor rooms revolve around Mill Creek, with fresh air, a great view, and a lovely little spot to enjoy them. Read and relax in front of the inviting fireplace, bird watch from the quiet veranda, or walk downtown and explore. Our extensive movie collection is available for nighttime social hours with "Bottomless Popcorn Bowls." In an effort to accommodate business travelers, Wireless Communication is available, as well as desks. Hearty and "sumptuous" breakfasts are served in the sunny dining room, or on the veranda, between 8:00 and 9:00 AM unless otherwise agreed upon. Special occasions can be celebrated in a variety of cozy and romantic spots in the inn. Relax in the unique "His and Hers" hammock swings located along the creek; the "Picket Fences" fireplace is full of aromatic candles. We are pleased to help you organize intimate retreats, garden tours, graduation celebrations, and small business functions. Oregon Bed & Breakfast Guild gift certificates, very popular for anniversaries, birthdays, and personal celebrations, are always available. Area Attractions and Activities: Historic Mission Mill and Museum, State Capitol, Silver Falls State Park and wineries in surrounding countryside, Oregon Gardens, Riverfront Park Carousel. We are on the 45th parallel, comparable to the wine regions of France. Many wonderful wineries are just minutes away, featuring Oregon's Pinot Noir, and a new dessert favorite "ice wine."
