![]() Set on half an acre with an old-fashioned tree swing, the house overlooks painterly vistas. A traditional Eastern Shore breakfast is served to guests in the blue and yellow dining room, as well as afternoon tea. Furnished with antiques, each room is centrally air-conditioned and offers a spotless modern bath en suite. In colder months, rooms are heated by gentle hot water radiators. Windows open. Rooms have spotless, modern baths, ensuite. We clean with hypoallergenic products, use no aerosols, and have no wall-to-wall carpeting. After an exciting day of doing everything or nothing, linger in the parlor over a board game or a book and a glass of sherry before retiring upstairs to your very private guest room. Breakfast is served! Your personal table is waiting in the bright, blue and yellow dining room. A larger table is available for family-style seating when friends or relatives are visiting together. A morning newspaper and soothing jazz or classical music set the mood, along with early coffee on the porch in pleasant weather. At your table, you will always find a beautifully presented first course of local fruits in season. Each of our hot entrees is prepared specially for you—with seasonal products as well as our own homegrown herbs and tomatoes. If guests wish, we prepare Eastern Shore breakfast specialties discovered in our explorations of the area. Of course a festive, candlelit celebration brunch may be arranged in advance. Area Attractions and Activities: Close by, Eastern Shore fun awaits: sailing, kayaking, golf, hunting, fishing and crabbing, as well as such town pleasures as boutique shopping, spa services, restaurants for all tastes, coffee shops, and a brand-new winery.
