Bed and Breakfast Description

Grafton, Illinois bed and breakfast: Tara Point Inn & Cottages

Far from the demands of everyday life and yet so near, there is a spot so beautiful, so serene, it will take your breath away. Escape to what some call the most pleasantly memorable and romantic get-away experience in the Midwest, where loved ones can relax, refresh and enjoy precious time together while making memories that last a lifetime!

If you've ever driven up the Great River Road, the stretch of the US Scenic Byway that follows the Mississippi as it ambles just north of St. Louis, you've seen Tara Point Inn. It maintains a commanding presence atop Tara Point, a bluff that faces the Mississippi and Illinois rivers where they meet in Grafton, IL.

When you stay at Tara Point, no matter where you are from, you feel like you are far away from home. All rooms feature in-room TV and VCR, private bath, king-sized bed and include Continental breakfast. Most rooms are actually suites with separate living areas, and all offer beautiful views of the rivers.

The Tara Point Cottages are located on the same hill as the Inn, yet nestled a little farther back. They offer nearly identical views, but separate entrances offer a little more privacy.
