The Villa

Tacoma, Washington.

Only B&B in the Seattle/Tacoma area to be accepted into "Unique New Inns," based on the beauty, cleanliness, and amenities offered. So authentic-looking is this Mediterranean-style villa that you can imagine it being air-lifted from old Italy.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Tacoma, Washington bed and breakfast: The Villa

The Villa has five unique rooms and suites. The walls of the house are a foot thick keeping it quiet inside and none of the rooms sits atop another, eliminating that pesky sound of creaky floors from the room above so prevalent in many homes of the era. When we added the Carriage House, we built a sky bridge connecting it to our main floor.

Grand in scale, but furnished to retain intimacy and warmth, each has special touches, among them: romantic gas fireplaces, ornate ceiling fans, soaking or spa tub, private verandahs, king or queen beds and excellent lighting. The walls of the house are a foot thick keeping it quiet inside and none of the rooms sits atop another, eliminating that pesky sound of creaky floors from the room above so prevalent in many homes of the era. Later, a Carriage House and sky bridge connecting it to the main floor was built. Grand in scale, but furnished to retain intimacy and warmth, each has special touches.

If you are looking for the perfect site for a small intimate wedding, may we suggest The Villa? Ideally designed for 100 summer guests and 75 winter guests, The Villa offers one of the most elegant, and yet least known, wedding venues in the Pacific Northwest. Located less than one hour from Seattle this 1924 home was created for the discerning bride and groom. From the Renaissance garden to the grand staircase, The Villa offers a perfect answer to all of your wedding needs from your joyful engagement to the final bouquet toss.
