Bed and Breakfast Description

Prospect Hill Plantation Inn & Restaurant is an original historic plantation complex, with rooms and suites in the 1732 manor house and original dependencies dating from 1699 to 1850 that have been renovated into delightful accommodations, all with working fireplaces and private baths (8 with Jacuzzis).

B&B rates quoted. We also offer all-inclusive Package rates which include wine and snacks on arrival, pre-dinner wine reception, 5 course candlelight dinner, breakfast-in-bed, and all gratuities included (additional wine and 7% sales tax not included).

We are located just 15 miles East of C'ville in a rural farming area with over 40 acres of manicured grounds and gardens including an arboretum with many rare trees, a gazebo and hammock for relaxing under the trees, and outdoor swimming pool. Local wineries, the University of Virginia, historic homes including Jefferson's "Monticello" and Madison's "Montpelier," Skyline Drive, historic sites, Civil War battlefields, antiques and other shopping are all just minutes away.

Overseer's Cottage: The original 1720 cottage with fireplace in the king bedroom and large sun filled sitting room. Private bath with double Jacuzzi and a covered porch and open deck at each end; a favorite for Honeymooners. Virtual tour on our web site.

Check In Instructions:

Innkeeper always on premises from 8AM to 10PM. If after 10PM arrival (very rare) note with directions to room left in foyer for guests.
