Area Attractions and Activities:
The central NC coast offers very back-to-nature oriented activities such as barrier island excursions to pristine, private beaches that offer excellent shelling; sailboat charters to enjoy the sunset; and horseback riding on the beach. For the more adventurous, take a 45' catamaran sail to the Cape Lookout Lighthouse.
This trip is a 6 hour sail to the Cape Lookout Seashore. Some waterlovers prefer to rent a kayak or canoe and paddle to the barrier islands. For the more sedate guest, exploring the waterfront villages of Swansboro and Beaufort may be more relaxing! These villages offer quaint shops and great dining. Other area attractions include the Maritime Museum, the NC Aquarium, and Fort Macon State Park.
An outdoor amphitheater hosts an outdoor drama during the summer months. Innkeepers, Bobby and Anita Gill, will acclimate you to area activities and assist with directions and reservations to make your stay at the Harborlight Guest House a memorable one.
Most Popular Rooms:
Suite #7 (the Penthouse): Offers 840 sq. ft. of luxurious accommodations with waterviews on 3 sides! Amenities include a two-person Jacuzzi, fireplace, two-person shower, and ultimate privacy! Breakfast is served in suite.
Suite #9: A favorite 3rd floor suite as it features a 72" x 72" European bubblebath tub with underwater "mood" light, fireplace, and stunning sunset waterviews. Breakfast is served in suite or deckside.
