This wonderful house was built in 1891 by the Hersh and Wiley families. Music appreciation classes were held by Mrs. Hersh in the part of the house we call the Sun Room.

Please note that we can not accommodate pets. There will be a $100 fine if you bring yours.

Rio Grande County Museum
For you history buffs, the past is still alive at our Rio Grande County Museum and Cultural Center.

The Lookout Mountain Observatory Association, Inc.
The 1 acre plus property, a modern "clam shell" type dome, and two large professional grade telescopes were all donated to the Association which meets monthly.

Wolf creek Ski Resort is just 'up the hill.' As one of the oldest and finest ski resorts in Colorado, it advertises having the most snow in Colorado.
