The walkway from the house descends into the enchanting and pristine beauty of our own Camusfearna Gorge. Walkways loop for two miles past waterfalls, fifty foot rock cliffs, assorted wildflowers, ferns, and moss. All situated on the beautiful 140 acre property.

In recent history, the state of Ohio bought thousands of acres and created six state parks within 10 miles of the gorge and woodlands, including Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Rock House, Conkles Hollow, Cantwell Cliffs, & Ash Cave, which now give respite to southeastern Ohio's most charming and prestigious inn.

Along with canoeing, horseback riding, boating, golf, and year-round hiking, the leisurely atmosphere of the region makes the Hocking Hills a premiere site for nature enthusiast... or those simply wishing to relax in the company of a natural world. Cottages in the Hamlet: Each has a grand living room, stone fireplace & kitchenette. Showers for 2, vanity & closet. King sleigh bed, gas log stove, & double French doors. Private deck has 4-person hot tub w/view of private garden & Camusfearna Gorge.

Mackenzie Royal Suite: These handsome quarters offer a two-person whirlpool tub and bidet in the private bath, plus love seat and chair beside the gas log fireplace in view of the half canopied bed. Views to the woods. Done in dark oak and rich fabrics.
