Area Attractions and Activities:

While in Washington County, tour Blue Bell Creameries, select vintage plants at the Antique Rose Emporium, walk through acres of seasonal flowers at Ellison's Greenhouses, or pet the miniature horses at the Monastery of St. Clare.

History is relived at the Brenham Heritage Museum, the Star of the Republic Museum at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park, and at the Giddings-Wilkin House. Museums, shops, restaurants are a short stroll from the inn's front door.

Unity Theatre is next door with several professional plays offered during the year.
The Pleasant Hill Winery is just a mile south of town and does tours every Sat. and Sun. The George Bush Presidential Library is 1/2 hour away, and Festival-Institute at Round Top offers excellent concerts throughout the year.

The historic downtown has been recently revitalized as a "Main Street City". Ongoing renovation projects are taking place and visitors are amazed at how much the town has changed in the last few years.

Most Popular Rooms:

San Antonio Room: Spanish Colonial room. Beamed ceiling with canopied and draped queen sized bed. Large bathroom with whirlpool tub for two, large shower, round stained glass window, gas log fireplace, wet bar and private porch access to the garden.

Charleston Room: Walls of exposed brick and soft rose set a romantic mood for this large room with sitting area. Rosewood queen sized bed has carved bird with birdnest. Stool available to climb into the tall bed. Bath has oversized tub for two & shower.
