The Beverly Hills Inn has an intriguing history dating back to 1929, when it opened as an apartment home for elderly single women seeking the convenience of a central location coupled with the prestige of living in the beautiful Garden Hills District.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Inn was built in a neo-classical style in 1929, and has an intriguing history. Before becoming Atlanta’s first Bed and Breakfast Inn in 1982, the three-story building was an apartment home for elderly single women.

It became Atlanta’s first Bed and Breakfast accommodation in 1982, and maintains its unique distinction today as the only Bed and Breakfast Inn to grace the charming and exclusive neighborhood known as Buckhead.

Since this historic building became the Beverly Hills Inn, it has undergone several renovations designed to preserve its original architectural style and elegance. Today, guests may still enjoy the European-style decoration evident throughout the Inn.

This Southern hotel with a California name has a decidedly European atmosphere. The Beverly Hills Inn offers 18 unique rooms and suites. Fresh cut flowers adorn the parlor. Each one of the rooms is unusually spacious and has hardwood floors, rugs, loveseats, a kitchen, a private bathroom and a white metal balcony with seasonal flower-boxes planted with geraniums in the summer and pansies in the winter. The Inn's common areas include the sunny conservatory and the cleverly decorated garden room, which resembles a small French bistro. A mural of a French garden covers one wall and even the pipes are wrapped in vines. A European-style Inn within walking distance of first-class dining, shopping and entertainment.
