Bed and Breakfast Description

This Chincoteague B&B landmark has six beautifully furnished, air conditioned rooms, including one suite, each with private bathroom. The waters of Virginia's Chincoteague Bay can be seen from some of the rooms.
The Inn also has a public Tea Room where a traditional English afternoon tea can be enjoyed by both residents of the Inn and visitors to Chincoteague. The Channel Bass Inn has been awarded a 3-star rating by Mobil.

One can enjoy the unspoiled beach of the National Seashore, or spend hours biking, hiking and kayaking on the beautiful Wildlife Refuge, where the wild horses roam.
After a wonderful day outdoors, one can browse through the many shops and boutiques on Chincoteague, and enjoy a leisurely seafood meal at one of the fine restaurants on the Island. Those Chincoteague oysters are a favourite with visitors and natives alike!
For wine lovers, a nearby vineyard offers winetasting of locally produced wines and delectable fine chocolates!
Afternoon tea is served at the Channel Bass Inn Tea Room five times a week, usually. Barbara's scones are outstanding - a four-course afternoon tea costs $17.50 per person. Inn guests enjoy a special rate of $9.00.
