Bed and Breakfast Description

Waterbury, Vermont bed and breakfast: Old Stagecoach Inn

The Old Stagecoach Inn is a classic Vermont B&B built in 1826. It has served as a tavern, stagecoach stop, and a private residence and is now one of Waterbury Vermont's most well known historic Inns. An intimate part of the village of Waterbury, it is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Behind this Vermont bed and breakfast Inn, lawns stretch to the Winooski River and the Green Mountains. In front, a two minute walk leads to interesting shops, restaurants, and a typical New England sense of place.

At the Old Stagecoach Inn, you'll have the assurance of comfortable, individually decorated guest rooms, an extravagant complimentary country breakfast, and the chance to unwind before the fire in our elegant parlor or in our cozy library bar. Only in Vermont can you get all of this in an unspoiled village setting where the tradition of old fashioned New England hospitality still prevails. Recently we added wireless Internet access for you to use for free during your stay.

In the morning, guests come down to a beautiful sight: a buffet table is loaded with muffins, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, juices and three varieties of Waterbury's very own Green Mountain Coffee. Then come individually prepared selections cooked to order from the kitchen: Eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, a variety pancakes and omelets, Harrington's cob smoked bacon, sausage, Huevos Rancheros to name a few. In fine weather you can enjoy all this on our beautiful outside deck.
