Bed and Breakfast Description

Halcyon Farm B&B is located in historic Mill Point along the Schoharie river. The 5,000 sq foot Federal brick home, once a tavern, was built from 1790 to 1819 and sits between 300 acres of hay fields and woods and the high "Blue Bank" cliff. The steep stagecoach trail, which skirts this cliff, survives to this day and is can be hiked.

Five spacious guest bedrooms have private bathrooms, gas fireplaces, flatscreen TV with DVD player, high ceilings, air conditioning and cotton linens. The guest living room and adjoining library offer relaxed seating, a gas fireplace and piano. Wireless Internet access is available. A unique selection of family antiques includes memorabilia from John’s great-grandfather, a whaling captain.

Enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast and June's freshly made cookies and hot or iced tea. Arrange for a massage during your stay. We will happily arrange to pick up boaters or bikers - the Mohawk River bike trail (bikeway) entrance and parking is a 5 mile drive, and the boat dock at Riverlink Park is 5 miles. Saratoga and Cooperstown are a 40 minute drive.

Reservation Notes:

14 day cancellation policy. If we are able to book the room, you will receive your deposit back. 50% deposit required at time of booking. Full deposit for one night's stay.
