Texas landmark constructed 150 years ago by Amish settlers. Authentically restored Fachwerk house & log cabin. All are surrounded by gardens of antique roses and herbs.

Bed and Breakfast Description

This historic B&B enchants you with an ambiance of the past, while maintaining today's comforts. The dog trot log-pen cabins and German Fachwerk building, both erected in the mid 1800s, were used to accommodate travelers on the Austin to San Antonio stage line.

The cabins are private retreats, with queen and king size beds, antique clawfoot tubs, or a large Jacuzzi. Both have separate tile showers, complete with candles and bath amenities. The Fachwerk building can be used as a suite or 2 separate rooms. Both sides have oversized bathrooms, private porches, cozy beds and wind chimes to sing you to sleep.

Breakfasts are gourmet treats or country fare, the choice is yours. Enjoy your meal in our dining room surrounded by your proprietor's passion, "orchids".

Bluebonnet Log Cabin: Texas bluebonnet king handmade cypress bed with feather bed, down pillows and blankets, heirloom quilts, an oversized soaking clawfoot tub, separate tile showers, comfortable chairs and rockers on porches.

The Antique Rose Log Cabin: This room is pure romance. It's roses and lace, quilts and an awesome queen sized bed. To top it off, a great Jacuzzi tub to relax in.
