Area Attractions and Activities:
At the Inn you are never more than a mile or so from a white sandy beach. Either on the gentle bay or along the high dunes on the ocean side, the waters offer opportunities to swim, surf, fish, kayak, sail, shell search, picnic and sunbathe. Whalewatching is spectacular.

The Audubon Sanctuary and the National Seashore offer escorted or self-guide walks. Art Galleries abound. Dinner at Duck Creeke Tavern Restaurant would begin an evening that could include live theater at WHAT or a movie at one of the country's oldest drive-ins, or live music in the Tavern which offers great food and features Jazz.

The Historical Museum has many artifacts and photos and hosts walks through the center of town describing the periods of architecture from the 1600's through the whaling days and to the present. The town welcomes families with square dancing, puppet theater, story telling, concerts, craft sessions and swim lessons. Tennis and golf are nearby.
