Bed and Breakfast Description

Shamrock Thistle and Crown B&B Inn is located in Central Florida, near Lady Lake, Weirsdale, Summerfield and Oxford, just south of Belleview and Ocala, and just north of Fruitland Park, Leesburg, Eustis and Mount Dora.

We offer luxurious whirlpool or Jacuzzi suites with fireplaces, king and queen beds, private baths, and a cottage with spa that is just great after a trip to Disneyworld or for your wedding night, honeymoon or romantic getaway. We have gift certificates and packages for your anniversary, birthday, and honeymoon.

Decadent French toast, Belgian waffles, eggs benedict, puffed savories, creamed eggs, and quiche are some of the entrees served at the inn. Breakfast usually includes freshly squeezed juice, fresh fruit, coffee and a selection of teas.

We're convenient to Silver Springs attractions, snorkeling or canoeing at Alexander and Juniper Springs, or the Ocala National forest. The Austin Carriage Museum & Orange Blossom Opry and The Villages lodging are only a few minutes away. We're close to Gator football at the University of Florida, Gator Homecoming and graduation, Renningers antique extravaganza, Santos off road biking and horseback riding.

We neighbor retirement golf communities in Lady Lake and Summerfield. The Villages Magical Town Square has entertainment, restaurants, shopping, Nancy Lopez and Hacienda Hills country club.

Area Attractions and Activities:

The Ocala National Forest is located just east of the inn. Natural springs are plentiful & provide the beginning point for canoeing, snorkeling, hiking, swimming & picnicking. Horseback riding in the forest & off-road biking are also close by. Fishing is close by on Lake Weir or the Ocklawaha River. Scenic boat trips are also available on the Silver River.

The Villages has two magical Town Squares located just 8 & 15 minutes from the Inn. Dancing on the Town Squares, quaint shops, nightly open air entertainment, & over 50 full service restaurants are available.

Antiquing is found just north & south of the Inn. A country music opry is one mile, the Austin Carriage Museum less than 5 miles & three more museums ranging from art to drag racing to archaeology are all within 30 minutes. Silver Springs & Wild Waters are just 30 minutes & right next to the attractions is the Silver River State Park.

Victorian Cottage: Built to resemble a Victorian Dollhouse, with an illusion of smallness. However, once inside, cathedral & vaulted ceilings make for a spacious retreat. Amenities include a spa, fireplace, TV/VCR/DVD, surround sound, mini fridge.

Irish Blarney Whirlpool Suite: An elegant garden setting sets the scene for whirlpool romance. A sitting area, heartpine floors & a fireplace make your stay a cozy one. A custom designed whirlpool & shower allow you to go directly from one to the other.
