Bed and Breakfast Description

Early this century, the building that is now Inn on the River was part of a unique complex known as Dr. Snyder's Drugless Health Sanitarium. Snyder, who touted himself as a "magnetic healer," knew that people liked to be pampered. He fed them well, provided them with hot baths and comfortable rooms, and generally gave them the kind of personal attention that made them want to return, time and again.

Today, the meticulously restored Glen Rose, TX Inn bears a coveted Texas historical marker. Much has changed through the years, but Dr. Snyder's spirit is still alive. Our intimate size allows us to cater to the individual needs of your small group. You will enjoy the kind of personal service you just can't get at large hotels or conference centers. We don't claim to possess healing powers, but we do hold true to the doctor's belief that each guest should leave feeling refreshed and renewed.
