Decorated with Victorian flair and full of period antiques, this 9-room bed and breakfast delights guests with a wine and cheese social hour every afternoon in the cozy parlor and a full buffet breakfast every morning served in the sunny breakfast room.

After spending the day discovering a new hiking trail or the fine shops in the area, a soak in the outdoor hot tub is a great way to relax while surrounded by the beautiful San Juan mountains. Honeymoon suite, hot springs, jeeping and cross-country skiing.

    Area Attractions and Activities:

    In the summer, come and be dazzled by the incredible wildflowers on display on any of the 17 local hiking trails. Four-wheel drive on one of the many jeep roads in the area. Experience the Old West by exploring ghost towns or going on a guided horseback ride. Wonder at the power of water at Cascade Falls and Box Canyon Falls, which are both only a short walk from downtown Ouray.

    At the end of the day, take a relaxing soak in Ouray's Hot Springs Pool. In the winter, there is downhill skiing with half-price lift tickets to Telluride. Try cross-country skiing on groomed and ungroomed trails in the mountains around Ouray and Ridgway. Snowmobiling is also very popular. Rent a pair of snowshoes and hike along some of the hiking trails in the area. Ouray is becoming the center for ice climbing with the development of the Ice Park, a mile-long gorge filled with ice falls.

    For less strenuous activity, a walk around town, and, of course, a soak in the Hot Springs Pool as snowflakes fly.
