Spectacular, 1889 three-story, grand Victorian house on Shore Road built by J.H. Littlefield for his wife, Nellie. An elegant house with ample piazza space, convenient to the beach and the center of town.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Mr. J.H. Littlefield was one of the pioneers in the "cottage" business, and besides renting his own cottages and studios, a dozen or more, he also rented for other people. Those who passed a summer at the Littlefield House were sure to return again with friends.

All bedrooms are individually and lovingly decorated, some with antiques and period furniture. All have private baths, are air conditioned and have cable television. All rooms have access to a deck area with four rooms having private decks and ocean views. All rooms have queen sized beds and are double occupancy size.

All rates include an expanded full breakfast, varied daily. The Nellie Littlefield House is not appropriate for young children. Regretfully, we do not allow pets. We have a no smoking policy throughout the House in order to provide a pleasant and fresh environment for our guests.

The house is available for private or corporate functions, weddings or family gatherings, musical or literary gatherings, including catering and other services. We offer afternoon tea by request.
