![]() Millpond Inn is a five bedroom Inn, in North Oakland County. All of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, they are spacious and comfortable. The room themes vary from antique to Africa, all reflecting a part of the innkeepers' lives. You will be relaxed and comfortable in any of our rooms Our home cooked breakfast is famous around the world. The homemade fruited yogurt and fresh breads are popular with the Europeans. Many guests skip lunch after one of our meals. Some of our specialty dishes have been named for guests who frequent the Inn, for example Betty's Savory Bread Pudding. Business travelers frequent the Inn, and if you're on the road, visiting this area, a night or a week at our Inn will feel more like a vacation then work. Area Attractions and Activities: North Oakland County is filled with activities. Sporting and entertainment events at the Palace. A variety golf courses available. Ski? Try Pine Knob. Shop at Michigan's largest mall Great Lakes Crossings, or visit Canterbury Village and Always Christmas. Live entertainment, DTE music theatre is 5 minutes away and the Palace of Auburn Hills is - 15 minutes. Michigan Renaissance Festival runs Aug-Sept. The Clarkston Village Players have plays Sept thru May in their train depot theatre. Local activities in the Village include Parades for the Fourth of July and Labor Day. Free Concerts in the Park every Friday in July. The Taste of Clarkston and Crafts and Cider Festival in Sept. Walking and biking your favorite activities? Follow some of our bike paths, or one of Kinetic Systems Back 40 rides. Walk or jog around the millpond block, it is a 1 mile trip. Parks are plentiful for activities, or maybe a quiet picnic. Come have fun and relax. Decorated in soft pinks and mauves, this room will delight the seeker of quiet comfort. The Keekorok Room: Bamboo and wicker furniture and bamboo ceiling! Safari-print quilt and batik-inspired colors. We have included mementos and photographs from our trip. It has a queen size bed, and the safari theme continues in the full bathroom. |
