 Inn at 2920, an upscale Bed & Breakfast in downtown Baltimore, provides guests with a unique combination of the old-fashioned and the contemporary. Our comfortable mix of old and new is reflected in the decor of our 3,800 square foot row home as well as in our amenities. The Inn is located in Canton, one of downtown Baltimore's most desirable neighborhoods. Described in the Baltimore Sun as a cross between Greenwich Village and Key West and located just 2.5 miles from Baltimore's convention center and 2 miles from the Inner Harbor, Canton is a convenient option for Baltimore visitors. From shopping to gourmet dining, it is all within walking distance when you stay at Inn at 2920. Owners, Warren Munroe and David Rohrbaugh, are very service oriented and committed to providing each and every guest, superior accommodations and amenities, friendly service and a memorable experience. We at Inn at 2920 offer to our guests a contemporary venue for intimate gatherings, receptions, bridal teas and private parties. We work with a select list of Baltimore's finest caterers and event vendors such as florists and photographers to assist you in planning the perfect occasion. Inn at 2920 can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 45 guests for a cocktail buffet reception and 30 guests for a seated dinner. We do require that all our guest rooms are also booked by the same party. Area Attractions and Activities: Inn at 2920 is only a block away from the Water Taxi, which sails guests across the Baltimore Harbor to Fells Point, Ft McHenry and the Inner Harbor. Fells Point offers dining, nightlife and antique shopping, while the Inner Harbor is known for its many tourist attractions including the Baltimore National Aquarium and Baltimore Science Museum. Baltimore has a host of art museums as well, including the unique American Visionary Arts Museum and the newly renovated Walters Gallery. Sports fans will find much to do in Baltimore from team sports (Ravens, Orioles) to water sports (sailing, fishing). If it isn't within walking distance, it's a short ride from Inn at 2920 to any Baltimore attraction. The Room at the Edge of the World offers guests a peek at the waterfront, a queen-sized, walnut sleigh bed, Jacuzzi tub and even a roommate -- a pet fish named Columbus! |
