Bed and Breakfast Description

A gracious, antique filled Colonial Williamsburg reproduction, on eleven acres of rolling hills, situated on a Civil War battleground. The property is complete with five acres of fragrant evergreens, nestled in the peaceful serenity of the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The house and lands sit on a Civil War battle site, the Battle of Cool Springs.

A visit to the lovely Rocks and Rills Farm includes a delicious full country breakfast each morning, as well as the use of the beautiful indoor heated swimming pool complete with hot tub at one end, and the offer of full in-house massages.

Rocks and Rills Farm is graced with a magnificent view of the mountains from a cozy deck suspended over beautiful lawn and gardens.

The Shenandoah River is located only 2 miles from this tranquil retreat on a lovely road perfect for walking, hiking, or biking.

After a short drive to historical Harpers Ferry, or the Skyline Drive, a wonderful way to round out the day would be to return to an evening in front of a roaring fire.

Rocks and Rills Farm is located in historic Clarke County which was originally part of Lord Fairfax's five million acre Fairfax Property. Clarke County was formed from Frederick County in 1836 and named for the explorer George Rogers Clarke.
