A block from the beach in La Jolla Village, this elegant yet inviting Inn offers European ambience and personalized service with horizon ocean/ sunset and garden views from some deluxe rooms.

Fresh flowers and sherry await you in your room where, after a fun filled day picnicking at the beach or snorkeling in La Jolla's blue waters, you can relax before dining at one of many fabulous restaurants.

Slip into a comfortable terry robe and enjoy a glass of fine sherry or sip a cup of exotic, aromatic tea while lounging on the sun-drenched deck or in the lush garden. The gracious and accommodating staff will make your dinner reservations and tend to your every need.

Evening is a magic time to take a leisurely after dinner stroll thru the village and experience the fine shops and art galleries; or just people watch over a cup of java at one of the small outdoor cafes.

After a peaceful night's respite, you may want to awaken early and take a leisurely walk in the quiet dawn along La Jolla's famous cliffs. A candlelit breakfast will be waiting for you upon your return with entrees like our fabulous Mex-Tex omelette or perhaps banana flambe crepes along with a lovely fruit platter, fresh squeezed juice, homemade granola topped with vanilla and honey laced yogurt and freshly baked muffins, bread and scones.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Come enjoy the beach and ocean, explore tide pools, sunbathe, surf, fish, go whale watching, snorkeling, scuba diving and kayaking. Get cozy with our local seal colony. Take to the sunny skies on a hang glider or bike along the coast to Pacific Beach. Take a picnic lunch and spend the day at Sea World, Zoo, or Wild Animal Park.

Watch the sharks being fed up close and personal, and learn about our vast oceans and the strange creatures that inhabit them at the Stephen Birch Aquarium. Take a few hours to enjoy golf overlooking the ocean at the Torry Pines course or play a few sets of tennis just steps from the inn's front door.
Expand your mind at the Museum of Contemporary Art just across the street from the Inn or plan an evening at the theatre such as La Jolla Playhouse or the Old Globe in Balboa Park.

Shop till you drop in the Village's many antique shops, designer boutiques and art galleries, or better yet, take the trolley into Mexico and go for the really good bargains.

Pacific View Guestroom: Decorated in Ralph Lauren blues and whites, it is ideal for horizon sunset and ocean views and offers a cozy wood-burning fireplace for those special, crisp foggy evenings along the coast -perfect for sharing quiet time together.

Holiday Suite: A large, romantic, luxuriously furnished suite in classic off-whites and beiges. Rich, dark, hardwood floors are accented with antique, Oriental area rugs. A cozy wood-burning fireplace and priceless antiques add a note of casual elegance.

Check In Instructions:

If checking in after 8 PM, call Innkeeper direct to make arrangements for late arrivals. Late check ins are not advised and should be avoided if at all possible. Prior arrangements should be made and cell phone numbers exchanged.

Reservation Notes:

Cancellation policy: 14 days prior notice if booking 4 nights or less; 30 days if booking 4 -8 nights and 60 days if booking more than 8 nights. Group reservations require a separate contract and must be booked with the Innkeeper/Manager. Guests are responsible for the cost of the entire stay if they do not meet the cancellation requirements. Refunds only if rooms can be re-let. This policy applies to "no shows" as well as early departures.
