Bed and Breakfast Description

It’s hard to imagine a more picturesque and romantic location than that of Seven Gables. The waves crashing along the rocky shoreline, the sea otters frolicking just offshore, the whales spouting, the surrounding mountains lit up by the sunset... these are the images seen from each guest room of this century old Inn.

Such natural beauty is complimented on the inside by a eclectic collection of comfortable, fine furnishings. A bountiful complimentary breakfast, enjoyable complimentary afternoon wine and cheese, outstanding guest service and the comfort of all private baths combine to make Seven Gables, truly, one of the most outstanding inns in California.

Our family purchased Seven Gables almost thirty years ago and it remained our family home until 1982, when we opened it as a bed and breakfast inn.

Today, Seven Gables Inn is personally managed and operated by our family. We opened our first guest house in 1958. Since then, we have anticipated the wishes of our guests, and we endeavor to make your holiday one that you will always remember.

The Cypress Room is located on our Guest House building. This large guest room, with a king bed, features a large corner window offering an unobstructed 180 degree view of the beautiful Monterey Bay and surrounding coastal mountains. Truly one-of-a-kind

The Breakers Room is located in the front corner of the Main House. This guest room, with a king bed and fireplace, offers sweeping ocean view across most of Monterey Bay. You might remember this room from a popular VISA card ad featuring Seven Gables.
