Moffatt House

San Francisco, California.

Moffatt House B&B in San Francisco has been a small family business, serving the Inner Sunset neighborhood for 25 years. Guests find the neighborhood a safe delight. Experience city life, the San Francisco way!

Bed and Breakfast Description

San Francisco, California bed and breakfast: Moffatt House

In the early days, lodging was offered exclusively to medical and scientific visitors to University of California at San Francisco Medical Center (UCSF). These days, tourists and a full range of neighborhood and University visitors are welcomed throughout the year.

Guests find the neighborhood a safe delight. A stroll along Irving St. invites relaxing over coffee and dessert at a sidewalk cafe, or enjoying a full meal at one of 30 ethnic restaurants.

Golden Gate Park, just two blocks away, offers many run/walk opportunities, but the one mile path around Stow Lake appeals to everybody. Need an extra 2/10th of a mile? Cross the bridge to Strawberry Hill and circuit the Lake from the inside.

When it's time to launch out into San Francisco, direct public transit takes only 18 minutes to downtown center, Pacbell Park (Giants baseball), or the Pacific ocean. Only $1.50.

Moffatt House Bed and Breakfast offers a comfortable place to sleep, a good breakfast, and friendly treatment. As always, our neighborhood remains interestingly diverse. And, as always, the City awaits.

San Francisco, California is filled with exciting activities and sites. We invite our guests to view the Golden Gate Bridge, visit the Golden Gate Park, The Exploratorium, China Town, and enjoy the cable cars of San Francisco!
