In 1935, Alvin A. Baker converted the LeFrancois home, built in 1840, into a country inn. Restored with great attention, each room of the old house has a private bathroom as well as antique furniture.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The five rooms are are located on the first floor of an old stone wall farmhouse. On ground level, discover Quebec savoir-faire and cultural traditions through its rich and wonderful eating experience.

The chef proposes a refined cuisine created from local products and international delicacies, in the purest of Quebec and French traditions. In an ambience ideal for receptions or meetings, the old wood floors, the stone walls, and the fireplace will add that special touch you're looking for...

Recently, a chalet and a studio with a whirlpool bath were added to our accommodations to give a more contemporary comfort.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Six golf courses (4 on the north coast and 2 on the Orleans Island) are located nearby including in the prestigious "Royal Quebec". The Mont Sainte-Anne ski resort and the Massif ski center are respectively 12 and 30 minutes east from the Inn as is the Montmorency Fall and the "Old Quebec" in the opposite direction (west).

Drive or bike and you will discover, in almost every curve of the scenic old Royale Street, an old stone house and vegetable cellar. Sainte Anne de Beaupre Basilica is 5 minutes, and antique shops are also part of the area.

You will enjoy a visit to a delectable bee museum, a taste of maple taffy, a slice of hot bread from the outside oven of Marie, and perhaps finish your visit tasting a very nice wine at Royarnois or the old Petit Pre Mill. If you are a bird lover, the Cap Tourmente sanctuary is a must.

Canyon Sainte-Anne, the Seven Falls and Orleans Island bridge are 12 minutes from the parking lot.

Cloutier Room: The cathedral ceiling, the small window on east side, and the antique furniture of the Cloutier family give this room its special touch (photo album on the site).
