We are quietly located in the center of Provincetown. All our guestrooms offer private bath, queen size beds, down comforter and pillows, bathrobes, TV/VCR, Telephones with voicemail and dataport, some feature fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, private entrance and/or private patios.

The gardens at the Carpe Diem are a green oasis far away from all the excitement of Commercial Street.

Our Namaste Spa offers a wonderful array of spa experiences that allow you to feel the benefits of heat and cold, light and darkness, touch and aromas. With a choice of light treatments to more intense therapies such as the Hamam Steam Room, Finnish Dry Sauna, Spa Tub Hydromassage or massage services, our guests’ journey is interspersed with relaxation time in a choice of peaceful settings.

Jurgen's homemade German-style breakfast is famous. Every morning the dining rooms are the meeting point for all the guests who like a good cup of coffee, german bread and cakes, waffles, Quiche or other special treats and a nice chat with friendly people.

The common rooms are a great place to relax, read a good book, meet people or chat with new friends. Video & DVD library, complimentary sherry and port and a 24 hour coffee & tea station is available for your comfort as well as a guestoffice & WIFI for those that need to stay connected to the "real" world.

The Carpe Diem is located close to the National Seashore with miles of unspoiled beaches. There are wonderful bike trails for the active guests, and organized dune tours as well as whalewatching trips for an unforgettable experience.

Kayaking, surfing, windsurfing, fishing, sailing, cycling, tennis, and golf as well as two gyms are within close distance to the guesthouse.

We are quietly located in the center of town, with its unique shops, marvelous restaurants, theaters, cinema and nightly entertainment. Everything in Provincetown is within walking distance from the Inn, so no car is needed during your stay. Off-street parking is provided.

The Henry David Thoreau Cottage: Our largest and most luxurious room, with a comfortable sitting area, fireplace, kitchenette and two-person Jacuzzi tub. Sliding French doors lead out to the private patio with fountain and small garden.
