Bed and Breakfast Description

Our Western Reserve-style Inn is in a quiet corner of the Village of Burton. Although only a short drive from Cleveland, Youngstown, Warren or Akron, it feels like another world. The pace of country life and Amish culture, together with the comforts of the Inn, make for a soothing and restful environment.

Imagine… being high atop a hill overlooking rolling farmland and forest as far as the eye can see, while smelling the aroma of a hearty Amish breakfast. All of this is located less than one hour from anywhere in Cleveland, Warren or Youngstown.

Located in the fourth largest Amish community in the world, The Red Maple Inn is a little like a small hotel. No two rooms are alike in the two-story inn. It has an elevator, small fitness center, balconies, game room, and fireplaces. However, its friendly staff and its many amenities set it far apart from any hotel.

We offer six different guest room styles, each with a king or queen sized bed, private bathrooms, Jacuzzi tubs, and in-room coffee makers. Several of our rooms have sofa beds for any unexpected guests. Each guest room is individually decorated with handcrafted Amish wood furniture in warm cherry and soft oak finishes for a homier feel. Do not forget our expanded continental breakfast is included with every night stay and is sure to please the palate of every guest.

When planning your visit you will find there is much to do in Burton and surrounding Geauga County. Geauga County is located in Northeast Ohio, and home to the second largest Amish population in the state. Burton was settled in 1798 and is Geauga county's oldest and first official settlement. Having recently celebrated its Bicentennial in 2006, Burton is a charming historical location known for its beauty, charm, historical contributions to the area and also its year around attractions.

Our Deluxe Corner rooms have Jacuzzis, cable TV, fireplaces, and balconies looking over a beautiful valley. They are decorated with handmade Amish furniture and each is unique.

The Red Maple Suite: In the main living area, you will find two sofa beds and a fireplace. The bedroom has a king size bed, dressers and a vanity. The balcony hosts a couple of tables and chairs for entertaining, and displays a wonderful view.
