Breakfast is served at your leisure from 8:00 to 9:30 in the dining area or, weather permitting, under the flower decked breakfast arbor, where birds and squirrels will scamper for your crumbs. Special needs and dietary restrictions can be met with enough prior notification. Complimentary wine, tea and coffee is served each afternoon, along with an ample serving of hospitality. Fine Dining — We are very fortunate to have 2 four star restaurants within walking distance of Onaledge. The Craftwood Inn, next door, was actually a part of the estate with Onaledge at one time and still seems as if it is. The Briarhurst Manor, a landmark restaurant in Manitou Springs, is less than one block away. There are many restaurants in our area, for all tastes, and we will be happy to help you with reservations. As a guest of Onaledge you will be provided passes to the Manitou Springs Pool. Within walking distance, this Olympic size pool will refresh and invigorate you to start the day for business or pleasure. Area Attractions and Activities: Manitou Springs, CO, was envisioned and developed as a therapeutic resort community, which offered a collection of mineral springs and spectacular setting to serve early explorers and travelers, especially those seeking to escape the illnesses of city life. After the turn of the century, tourists began to replace health seekers. Natural features in the area include the Garden of the Gods, Engelmann Canyon, the original Ute Trail and the historic Barr Trail, which climbs to the summit of Pikes Peak. The second oldest marathon run in the country, the Pikes Peak marathon is held each August as well as several natural limestone caverns, the most famous of which is the Cave of the Winds.
