Welcome to the Wilson Ranches Retreat Bed and Breakfast in North Central Oregon. A 9,000 acre working cattle ranch takes you off the beaten track to our rustic hideout.

Enjoy golfing at the Kinzua Hills Golf Course, a 4x4 Sunset Ranch Tour with a magnificent view of the Cascade Mountain Range, a horseback ride in a geologically and historically rich area of Wheeler County, or a quiet hike to view the wildlife and diverse plant life on Wilson Ranches.

Breakfast at WRR is the "event" of the day, when Phil and Nancy sit down with the guests and share stories about ranch life, local history, and the funny and serious sides of rural living.

Area Attractions and Activities:

You will be captivated by this incredible secluded scenic area. The Retreat is a great place to headquarter your exploration of the Clarno, Sheep Rock, and Painted Hills Units of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. The John Day River offers world-class bass fishing and river rafting trips.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Homestead: (19 x 26). King bed, queen bed and one double bed. A couch faces the red brick fireplace. The knotty pine walls, western art work and antler lamps add to the Homesteader atmosphere. Outside entrance for privacy. Private bathroom. TV/VCR.

The Hideout Room: Upstairs with a king bed and an outside entrance onto the deck. Also three twin beds are available with this room when the Bunkhouse is rented in combination.
