Originally built in 1915 as a summer beach home for the Arnot family, Fig Tree Inn is a lovely old cedar shake shingle cottage in the traditional Southern Beach style.

The Inn is now a charming bed and breakfast with six differently themed bedrooms, each with a private bath. There is a lovely living-dining room and a wonderful porch where you may enjoy breakfast and afternoon tea. The beach is only 1/2 block!
For our special guests we want you to know that we are only 5 minutes away from Mayo Clinic.

Need some time for a little rest and relaxation? Fig Tree Inn is just steps from the beach. Ride the beach bike, take a walk to the new fishing pier, or just relax and unwind on our wonderful deck or porch.

We provide discounted rates for longer stays and rent the entire house out for family gatherings. Weddings and many special occasions have been celebrated at our Inn. Families can rent the entire house for reunions. We have weekly rates available for those of you who would like to stay a little longer.

A walk on the beach, reading a book in the parlour, or rocking on the porch with a glass of your favorite beverage will hit the spot! No worries when you visit the Fig Tree Inn! We have full breakfasts on weekends and continental breakfasts during the week.

Most Popular Rooms:
Garden Room: Our Honeymoon suite includes a lovely canopy bed, with a dresser built into the wall next to the chimney. The large bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath. The butterfly quilt is something to behold! Romance all around in this room.
Nautical Room: One of our most popular rooms because of the bright colors and closet space. This room has an old-fashioned bath, with a sitting area for relaxing prior to the trip to the beach.
