Welcome to the Crane Creek Inn Waterfront Bed & Breakfast. Innkeeper, Bob Shearer's aim is to provide you with true Florida living in a Key West Style relaxed atmosphere.

The main house was built in 1925 and is located on a direct tributary to the Indian River (Intracoastal Waterway) and Atlantic Ocean. Crane Creek Inn has five beautifully decorated guestrooms, 2 in the main house and 3 poolside rooms, which provide a more tropical flare! All rooms have private baths and waterfront views of beautiful Crane Creek, alive with fish and fowl. You can enjoy many of the water activities, wildlife and the hot tub directly on the dock.

Five verandahs, a pool, a hot tub, docks and wildlife will make your trip to Florida one to remember. Whether by boat, ICW#6, or car, here you can walk historic downtown and its fine restaurants, antique and specialty shops. Or, walk along the marina, riverfront parks, and waterside restaurants. Enjoy nature with osprey, blue heron, jumping mullet, dolphin and many manatees.

Stroll into historic downtown Melbourne, a Florida Main Street Community, full of antique shops and unique boutiques (Indian River Soap Company, Flying Corkscrew, The Chandlery, Kilwin's Chocolates, KEM Handbags, Tin Roof Popcorn, The Gauzeway, East Coast Winery and Schading International Textile Art). Or take a short drive over the Melbourne Causeway to Indialantic and the Atlantic Ocean.
Some of the finest restaurants are just minutes walk away. Brevard Room: A nine-foot, full view door opens to the screened verandah and overlooks the pool and river. A large room, with ornate queen bed decorated with roses, offers double headed shower, pedestal sink, and private entrance from wraparound porch.
Melbourne Room: Our riverfront retreat is very private with a king size "Sun" bed and only steps away from the river. Enjoy the verandah, or slip around the corner to the "rain forest," our outside showers.
