Bed and Breakfast Description

Each room has different views ranging from sunsets, sunrises, the stream, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Hualalai, floral gardens and the green Kohala mountains. All rooms have access to our big covered streamside lanai with comfortable seating, porch swing and breathtaking sights and sounds of the seasonal stream and Mauna Kea.

As your hosts, we are happy to welcome you and share our knowledge of the island. We'll point you to our favorite spots, the known and little-known highlights of the area, and help you make the most of your stay on the Big Island.

Aaah, the Views, B&B was designed and built as a healing retreat, with an ambience that encourages relaxation and a renewed sense of well being. Your hosts Erika and Derek Stuart come from backgrounds in massage and yoga instruction. They are very enthusiastic about sharing their Waimea paradise with other travelers. Come say Aaah.....

Area Attractions and Activities:

Waimea is ideally situated for enjoying so many of the Big Island's attractions: world renowned beaches, hiking, waterfalls, spectacular scenery, water sports, unique shopping, fine dining, Mauna Kea stargazing, Wai'pio Valley horseback riding, yoga, massage, therapeutic cold plunges in our stream, local farmer's markets, birdwatching, honeymooning, romance and so much more....Whatever your interests, the dry side of Waimea is the place to base yourself. We are only 1 hour from Hilo and 45 minutes from the Kona airport. One hour to the Mauna Kea visitors center and 90 minutes to the Volcano village. Guests tell us that they feel like they are "coming home" at the end of a day of fun and adventure, whether they wanted to lie on a beach or hike lush valleys, coming back to our comfortable, casual but lovingly maintained home was the way to go!
