Bed and Breakfast Description

Whether you join us at Laurel Lodge for a weekend get away, to celebrate a special occasion, or to experience historic Harpers Ferry, we will do our best to make it a memorable stay. All of our spacious guest rooms are located on the second floor of the Lodge and are furnished with your comfort and convenience in mind.

In the evening, enjoy a good book or socialize by the hearth. Rest in comfort in our spacious guest rooms with luxurious linens and period furnishings.

After a good night’s sleep, wake to the smell of fresh coffee. Get your day off to a great start with our delicious breakfast.

Each day at Laurel Lodge begins with a satisfying two-course breakfast in our great room. The first course features a fruit dish and warm-from-the-oven breads, pastries or muffins. The second course offers a hot entrée.

Breakfast at the Lodge includes fresh juice, hot coffee and assorted teas. We strive to incorporate fresh, local, organic and seasonal items on our menu whenever possible.

We are happy to accommodate those with special dietary restrictions when notified in advance of your arrival.

We will happily arrange appointments for you with our local massage therapist. Please notify us at least one week before your stay.

A short stroll away is the National Park where you can witness America at the brink of the Civil War. Once inside the park, you can explore the campus of the former Storer College – a landmark in the emerging campaign for African American Civil Rights.

Explore the unique and natural wonders of our area while hiking along the C&O Canal or Appalachian Trail, paddling down the Potomac or Shenandoah Rivers, and biking nearby country roads. Or you may prefer to simply unwind on our rustic porch that overlooks the unspoiled Potomac River Gorge.

You’ll find many things to do during your stay at Laurel Lodge. Harpers Ferry is in an area rich in history and recreation. It is at the crossroads of three states and a short distance from Washington, DC.

We’ll be happy to assist you in planning your visit to the area.
