 Eight Streamside Cabins are carpeted and pine paneled, with private baths and spacious decks. Fine photographs, hand-quilted comforters and Vermont Castings gas stoves complement these one room cabins. Five Hideaway Cottages are located 1/2 mile from the Inn in a wooded setting. Each features a living room with fireplace, king size bed in the master bedroom, a large bath with soaking tub, sleeping loft, a mini-kitchen for snacks, and light housekeeping. The River Suites combine luxury and the river views. Each features a large living room with fireplace, mini-kitchen, soaking tub overlooking the river, king size bed, private deck and other amenities that add up to the best of everything! The Camp Water Houses are '60s-style 3 bedroom houses built on the site of the old tent camp and the North Umpqua Lodge, across the river from The Inn. We are pleased to have arranged a lease with the participation of the State of Oregon and the U.S. Forest Service. This unique partnership allows us to offer full housekeeping units. We think these places are perfect for families with children (sorry, no pets). The Inn is open daily, late spring through fall, and in the winter on weekends (closed January & February). Our cafe offers a menu featuring homemade soups, pies, breads and other delicious treats available for breakfast and lunch. Steamboat Inn is an excellent facility for meetings, retreats and seminars. Area Attractions and Activities: Steamboat Inn is located 38 scenic miles east of Roseburg, Oregon on Highway 138. The Inn is a perfect lodging base for the numerous nearby attractions, such as Crater Lake National Park, Diamond Lake, excellent wineries and a wildlife safari park. Fishing at its most challenging, trails for hikers, and swimming are all within minutes of Steamboat Inn.
