The Lavender Inn is the ultimate retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation. The Lavender Inn has 7 rooms in addition to an attached cottage - each boasts a unique decor, a rich blend of period antiques, comfortable furnishings, bold colors and attention to detail.

A charming, spacious cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway or longer stay with the kitchenette. Relax and read or talk in the cozy living room in front of the fire listening to music and sipping wine.

The grounds are breathtaking with tall oaks, mountain views, fountains, a pond and, of course, a variety of lavenders.

Gourmet breakfast on the veranda overlooking the English gardens, with a pond and fountains under 200 year old oaks. Fresh orange juice, seasonal fruit, freshly baked items, locally roasted coffee, granola, yogurt, and a hot entree are served daily. Herbs and vegetables are picked daily from our organic herb garden.

The intimate Lavender Inn is the setting for the innovative Ojai Culinary School. The new cooking school will offer a wide variety of hands-on demonstration cooking classes ranging from visiting chefs to local artisanal cooks. The emphasis on the cooking classes is to develop technique and expertise along with a sense of ease in the kitchen. Wine Pairings and International Cooking Demonstration Dinners will be another option.

Room 4, Lavender Garden: This popular room is decorated with tastefully appointed antiques and painted in a subtle lavender. Enjoy reading on the secluded balcony, which overlooks the gardens, looking at the Topa Topa mountains. Private bath.
