Built in 1861 and listed in the National Historic Register, The Inn is one of Jacksonville's many beautifully preserved buildings. Two of the last three US Presidents have dined at The Inn; President George W. and Laura Bush stayed at The Inn while campaigning in Oregon in 2004.

Its full-service restaurant is one of Oregon's most award winning, and for several years has been chosen "Readers' Choice Best Restaurant" by Medford Mail Tribune readers. It is a Wine Spectator recipient of the "Best of Award of Excellence"--one of 500 in the U.S. In 2006, the Medford/Jackson County chamber of Commerce awarded The Inn as "Best Retailer of the Year."
