Mancos, Colorado bed and breakfast: Sundance Bear Lodge
Relax in the main lodge. The Mancos queen offers full bath (tub/shower). The larger corner room is the Mesa Verde expanded queen plus single; bath is shower only. The bed is a new size, firm but incredibly comfortable! Enjoy gas log fireplace & tv in room.

Great Room is casual luxury -- wood burning fireplace, comfy sofas,recliners. Relax with a good book, TV, cards, board games & conversation. Multiple sitting areas and great views! Western history books, Louis L'Amour westerns, videos/DVDs available for kids, adults and history buffs.

Our enchanting log cabin across the pond from the main lodge is ideal for multi-day stays. It has queen bedroom, bath and kitchen area downstairs, upstairs loft with double bed & sofa. Self cater or B&B.

The Guest House is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house - close to the main lodge, but invisible from it. Southwestern decor plus great LaPLata Mountain view. The house sleeps 8-10 people. Rent all or two separate units. The great room/kitchen common area separate the two units. The Guest House is designed for accessibility to disabled persons. Full kitchen to prepare your own meals.

Enjoy a family reunion or western getaway. Great place for recreation of soul and spirit. A base camp for exploring the 4 Corners' National Monument, Hovenweep sites, and majesty of San Juan skyway and Mesa Verde (100 years old in 2006). Pets and horses: please inquire. Open all year.

Lots of archeology: Mesa Verde (open all year), Hovenweep & Lowery ruin, Chaco Canyon, Chimney Rock.
Water: McPhee Reservoir, Dolores river fishing.
Alternate types of transportation from history: Ride a stagecoach! Ride the Durango/Silverton RR.
Miles of outdoor fun spots for all ages: National Forest for hiking, biking, ATV/snowmobiles, Horseback rides in canyons or mountains. Fantastic fall color (Sept).
Celebrate the Native American cultures: Indian casinos, Indian Market at Mesa Verde on Memorial Day weekend and each Sunday in Cortez. Indian dances evenings in Cortez.
Our new personality: Art & wine festival in the late summer/Fall. Mancos balloon festivals Sept. We have something for everyone -- open all year for making memories!

Log Cabin built about 1985: queen bed downstairs, double + sofa in loft -sleeps 4. Kitchenette with B&B option, full bath with river rock tub/shower, gas log fireplace, great decks for watching sunsets. Romantic! Weekly rate available Nov. - April.
Bring the family! Two unit self-cater guest house is 3 bed/2.5 bath with full kitchen (well equipped!). Great for family reunions or group of friends. Ask about "sole occupant" rate if your dog . Weekly rate available Oct.- April. Breakfast not included.
