Come be pampered at this Romantic 1800's Federal Farmhouse nestled in the White Mountains with views of Mts. Washington, Madison, Adams and the Androscoggin River. 7 guestrooms, all have private baths, 2 with Whirlpool tubs. Getaway from it all!

Bed and Breakfast Description

Our rooms are named for the wide variety of birds who live in the White Mountains and are individually decorated with handmade quilts, antique furniture, fluffy robes, scented glycerine soaps, bath and shower scents, blow dryer. Five rooms have air conditioning.

Wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. As you seat yourself at a table set with orange juice and fresh fruit, you wonder, "What will breakfast be today?" - Amaretto French toast, lemon raspberry pancakes, or Mary Ann's specialty Cinnamon Stuffed French toast? Dietary restrictions? Mary Ann will be happy to accommodate any as long as she knows in advance. As you enjoy your breakfast, watch the local birds as they dine at the bird feeders outside your window. Hummingbirds, chickadees, nuthatches...

Will you choose an active day of hiking, biking, kayak/canoeing, fishing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, or relax on the front porch with a favorite book?

Return from your day to home baked goodies in your room - double chocolate brownies, Auntie May's Oatmeal Spice Cookies, lemon bars... delicious! Come Be Pampered!

The Bald Eagle Suite: One of our Deluxe Suites in cheery blue and yellow w/ a Four poster Savannah Rice bed, sitting room w/ TV/VCR, and full bath w/ whirlpool tub. In the winter, a toasty comforter to keep you warm - in the summer a handmade quilt.

The Chickadee Room: One of our King Rooms in relaxing shades of rose and sage, with a King size bed, a handmade quilt, stained glass window and stained glass desk lamp - made by one of my good friends - and full bath.
