Your comfort and enjoyment during your stay at Coconut Cottage is of utmost importance to us. We strive to make your Hawaiian vacation as memorable and relaxing as possible. We pay special attention to all the details. Enjoy comfortable beds, plush towels, and the finest of bed linens. Enjoy evening pupus (Hawaiian appetizers) and tropical drinks on our beautiful lanai at sunset. Soak in the spa at the end of the day dreaming about re-entering the world with a renewed sense of being.

As you walk through the front door of our cottage, you will experience the feeling of a bygone era. Vintage style Hawaiian island furnishings inspired by Tommy Bahama create a relaxed island elegance. From our Bali imported hand carved beds, to our open air bamboo lanai, and to our koa wood kitchen counter, the Coconut Cottage truly evokes an island ambience you will remember long after your visit with us.

Daily gourmet breakfast is served featuring 100% Kona coffee, exotic tropical fruits, homemade breads, yogurt and more on our large Tommy Bahama inspired bamboo lanai with views of our secluded tropical gardens.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Centrally located in the heart of the tropical Puna district in Leilani Estates seven miles from the world famous live lava flow. At this amazing spot one can watch the red lava stream down the mountain side and experience the fiery glow of the billowing volcanic gases light up the night sky.
We are three miles from the quaint village of Old Town Pahoa with its excellent restaurants and shops. In 1960 Pahoa became the anthurium and papaya capital of the world.

Lava Tree State Park and Isaac Hale State Park with its thermal hot pools, surfing, and world-class snorkeling are just a few miles away. We are also just minutes from Kehena Beach, where one can enjoy the breathtaking black sand beaches and turquoise blue ocean. This beautiful beach is often frequented by dolphins, turtles and seasonal whales.

Another nearby wonder not to be missed are the natural steam vent caves.
