 Mountain Laurel Creek Inn & Spa is tucked away in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the heart of North Georgia's wine country. We are just five miles north of the scenic mountain village of Dahlonega, Georgia - famous for the first major gold rush in the nation. Mountain Laurel Creek is perfect for that special mountain getaway, with five luxurious suites to choose from. A peaceful and quiet sanctuary to totally relax, re-energize and pamper yourself or that special someone. Each suite has a queen size bed (the Laurel Suite & Parlor Room has a king bed and is our deluxe honeymoon suite), sitting room, private bath with a whirlpool tub for two, separate shower, private balcony, gas fireplaces, WiFi. Enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail or visit the many waterfalls. Try panning for gold - shop the Historic Square, and don't forget to tour our local wineries nearby. Or just relax in a rocking chair on the front porch, curl up in the library with a good book or play board games in the screened porch, or soak in the outdoor hot tub. Stroll through the gardens and have tea in the gazebo, or after a wonderful gourmet breakfast, enjoy a romantic walk down our private trail to the creek. Oasis Spa at Mountain Laurel Creek is located in the Inn. We offer various facials to choose from, along with massage therapy treatments, reflexology and hot stone massage therapy. Area Attractions and Activities: Gold panning, traditional mountain music, shopping in Dahlonega's historic square, hiking, biking, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, waterfalls, winery tours, Appalachian trail, birdwatching, golfing, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, Babyland General Hospital. North Georgia is fast becoming known for its wineries. Frogtown Cellars, Three Sisters Vineyards, Blackstock Vineyards and Wolf Mountain Vineyards, all within 15 minutes of our Inn. Featuring European wine grapes. Oasis Spa is located on the property, and features two treatment rooms, one for massages and the other for facials and body wraps. Receive your relaxing treatment and then just walk back to your room without leaving the privacy of the B&B. Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology and, hot stone massages are offered. This is our honeymoon suite, for those special times, or just because you deserve it. The Vineyard Room: Large gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, whirlpool tub for two, furnished in Tuscan style, though our newer room the parlor room is good too. |
