The Clark House is a magnificent turn of the century Victorian guest house located in the town of Palenville, Green County, NY, two hours north of New York City, and 45 minutes south of Albany, directly in the heart of the Catskill Mountains.

Walk to hiking trails, swimming holes, golf & restaurants; minutes to HITS horse show, Hudson River Hunter Mountain, Windham & Cortina Valley ski areas, North Lake State Park, horseback riding. See the water cascading down the magnificent Katterskill Falls - the highest in the entire North East United States.

Travel back in time. See the artifacts of antiquity in Saugerties. Visit the many fine antique stores. In fact, many of the beautiful furnishings at the Clark House were discovered in the shops in downtown Saugerties or at the auctions there. Browse the quaint artistic Woodstock, where everything has to do with art or music.

Suites: Both have sitting areas w/fireplaces, queen size beds, & fantastic mountain views. For the more adventurous, Suite #1 also features a Jacuzzi tub & a sleeping loft; you must climb a ladder to get to the loft.
