The Riverside Inn has 5 handsomely appointed guest rooms and 1 two-bedroom suite, all with private baths. The numerous inviting public rooms showcase the surrounding wooded landscape, designed to enhance relaxation and encourage casual conversation... those treasured characteristics of a classic bed and breakfast. The East Branch of the Saco River, stretching the entire length of the property, provides relaxing sound and fabulous views.

Enjoy the full country breakfast in the bright and roomy Breakfast Room with gas fireplace and wood floors. The daily entree varies, with delights such as waffles with strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream and New Hampshire maple syrup; Riverside pancakes with apples; and scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and tomatoes. Delectable sides include bacon, sausage, hash, potatoes, fresh fruit and more, and the daily 7-fruit smoothie is a Riverside specialty.

The three-story Victorian was constructed in 1906 as a private residence in the quaint mountain village of Intervale. Now lovingly restored as a comfortable, spacious, intimate bed and breakfast inn, Riverside's innkeepers Ken and Chris Lydecker bring years of experience in the hospitality business to creating a perfect getaway. Area Attractions and Activities:

Activity springs in every direction from the historic railroad depot in the center of town. Explore the numerous quaint shops & restaurants on foot, or take in a concert or dog show in Schouler Park. Check for available tee times at the beautifully scenic country club golf course, or don some ice skates in winter. The Saco River carves its way through town, offering summer watering holes to cool you right down. Perhaps you're not ready to scale a granite cliff, but it's exciting even to watch the climbers on Cathedral and White Horse Ledges, on the west side of town.

Visitors can shop 'til they drop at the many outlet malls and local arts and crafts galleries, antique shops and specialty stores. See a play at one of the area playhouses, ride one of the scenic train rides, and visit any of the many area family attractions.
