At Christopher Place Resort B&B, you are surrounded with the natural beauty of the majestic Smokey Mountains and close to all the activities they have to offer.

Resort amenities include a heated outdoor pool, tennis, hiking and walking trails, an exercise room with sauna, and lazy afternoons on the front porch. Voted the best B&B in the area.

After a romantic dinner retreat to your suite with panoramic views, a double whirlpool tub, and a woodburning fireplace. Fine dining nightly by reservation, with a few seats open to the public. We are pleased to offer a full selection of fine wines and alcoholic beverages. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted. Dinner entrée must be selected at the time reservation is made or 24 hours prior to dining.

If you do decide to venture out, you'll want to visit nearby Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and especially the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Great Smokies' wildflowers carpet the hills in bright color in the spring all the way through fall. For the outdoor adventurer, the Smokies offer hiking on over 700 miles of trails from easy to the most challenging, rock climbing, horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, bird watching, and sightseeing.

Area Attractions and Activities:

A picnic at Hen Wallow Waterfalls in the National Park. Shopping in the Smoky Mountain Arts and Crafts Community, just outside nearby Gatlinburg. Spectacular views from a hot air balloon. Whitewater Rafting on the French Broad River, then returning to the inn for a nice long nap.

Shopping the Outlet Malls in nearby Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the mountains from the Christopher Place balcony with a hot mug of coffee. Enjoying a Sunday matinee musical at the Theatre Guild, one of Tennessee's oldest theaters, then returning to the inn for a romantic candlelit dinner with a decadent dessert.

Hiking up to White Rock, the most scenic overlook in the Smoky Mountains. Horseback riding through Cosby and Del Rio and discovering why they call our mountains the Place of the Blue Smoke. Relaxing by the pool all day, stopping just long enough to go to your room for a soothing hour of massage therapy.
