The Blair-Moore House offers gracious overnight accommodations in a lovely, restored home dating from the early 1800's. We are conveniently located downtown in the heart of Jonesborough's Historic District.

Bed and Breakfast Description

All meals are special events at the Blair-Moore House and we take pride in using only the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients to create a memorable cuisine for you to enjoy. Prepared fresh in our kitchen each morning, we serve an elegant and beautifully presented breakfast in our dining room where you will find the table set with linens, china and silver.

As Tami is also an avid gardener, you will see her love of gardening inside her home as well as in her gardens. All of the fresh herbs and flowers used in preparing and garnishing your meals are grown in the gardens at the Blair-Moore House. Our gardens are English-style. Since 1994, we have added to gardens each spring and feel that our gardens add to the special experience we offer at Blair-Moore House. All rooms have a private porch, adding the luxury of extra space. Fresh flowers and complimentary beverages are also provided.

Our home had been neglected for over 30 years before we purchased it in 1993. Therefore, major restoration and renovation was required. Since we did 99% of all the work ourselves, we were able to give attention to even the smallest detail. In addition to the restoration/renovation, we have added lovely English-style gardens, picket fences, stonewalls, brick paths, Jack's woodworking shop, private off-street guest parking and other outbuildings. We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in residence.

Shopping and fine dining are easily within walking distance, since we are located downtown and within a 1/2 block from where many charming specialty shops and restaurants abound. Numerous greenhouses are also nearby.

For those who love antiques, we have several antiques shops in Jonesborough and many more in neighboring towns. Depending on the type of antiques you collect, we can make informed recommendations as to which shop(s) you should visit.

Most Popular Rooms:

Blair-Moore House offers one suite. It is located on the lower level and has a private entrance from outside. It has a large private sitting room, a bedroom with a queen size canopy bed and a private bathroom with a clawfoot tub and a walk-in shower.

Both of our upstairs rooms are uniquely furnished. Both have a private bathroom with a shower/tub, canopy bed and private porch. In one of the upstairs rooms, we can accommodate a third person.
